Cherwell District Council’s representatives to the Future
Oxfordshire Partnership Scrutiny Panel are Councillors Besmira
Brasha, John Broad and Barry Wood.
Given the Future Oxfordshire
Partnership’s responsibilities for allocation of funding
streams under the Growth Deal, the Future Oxfordshire Partnership
Scrutiny Panel ensures effective and coordinated scrutiny of the
work and decision-making of the Partnership.
Its membership comprises three councillors
from each of the six Oxfordshire authorities and it is empowered to
review any decision and make recommendations on reports to the
Partnership.
The Cherwell District Council representatives
are one Progressive Oxfordshire, one Labour and on Conservative
councillor. They are listed on this page.
This additional joint scrutiny function
complements rather than replaces the existing Scrutiny Committees
of each authority.
