To update the Executive on the outcome of the bid that Cherwell District Council (CDC) has submitted for energy efficiency capital works (non-repayable government grants) and, as a result, to seek approval for CDC to proceed with its proposed programme of capital works.

 

Reason for urgency: To avoid any delay to the programme of works a decision is required before the next scheduled meeting of Executive on 6 September. The decision is key due to the future income/savings. As the key decision was not included on the Executive Forward Plan giving the required 28 days’ notice, in the absence of the Chairman of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee, the Vice-Chairman of the Overview & Scrutiny Committee has been notified of the decision being taken.
