Appointment of Chair for the municipal year 2026/2027 Additional documents: Minutes: It was proposed by Councillor Biegel and seconded by Councillor Pruden that Councillor Dr Elugwu be appointed Chair of the Licensing Acts Committee for the municipal year 2026/2027.
There were no further nominations.
There being no further nominations, Councillor Dr Henry Elugwu was duly elected Chair of the Licensing Acts Committee for the municipal year 2026/2027.

Appointment of Vice-Chair for the municipal year 2026/2027 Additional documents: Minutes: It was proposed by Councillor Parker and seconded by Councillor Smith that Councillor Pruden be appointed Vice-Chair of the Licensing Acts Committee for the municipal year 2026/2027.
It was subsequently proposed by Councillor Biegel and seconded by Councillor Webb that Councillor Ahmed be appointed Vice-Chair of the Licensing Acts Committee for the municipal year 2026/2027.
There being two nominations for the position of Vice-Chair, a vote was taken. There were six votes for Councillor Pruden and five votes for Councillor Ahmed, with one committee member not voting.
Councillor Chris Pruden, having received the most votes, was duly elected Vice-Chair of the Licensing Acts Committee for the municipal year 2026/2027.
