To appoint a Data Protection Officer in light of the end of the formal partnership working arrangements between Cherwell District Council and Oxfordshire County Council 

Resolved

(1)          That Shahin Ismail, Interim Assistant Director Law, Governance and Democratic Services, be appointed as the Council’s Data Protection Officer with immediate effect to 17 October 2022.

(2)          That Shiraz Sheikh, Assistant Director Law, Governance and Democratic Services, be appointed as the Council’s Data Protection Officer from 17 October 2022.

Approved, That powers be delegated to the Assistant Director for Planning and Development, having regard to the heads of terms set out within the original planning committee report, addendums and planning committee minutes (and any amendments as deemed necessary), to negotiate and complete an agreement containing obligations pursuant to s106 of the town and country planning act 1990 (as amended) relating to the planning appeal in order to meet the requirements of the planning inspector.

To provide an update on the options for spending the discretionary fund allocations for Council Tax Energy payment and recommend to the attached proposed policy.
