The Head of Development Management submitted a report which informed Members on applications which had been determined by the Council, where new appeals have been lodged, public Inquiries/hearings scheduled or appeal results achieved.

(1)          That the position statement be accepted.

To agree to adopt a scheme of charging for the addressing of new properties, for the re-addressing of existing properties when requested and appropriate and for responding to miscellaneous postal address enquiries.

To enable the recovery of the Council’s costs in delivering these discretionary services pursuant to Section 93 of the Local Government Act 2003.

(1)       That the fee charging scheme as detailed in Annexe A be adopted.

(2)       That current policy and guidance documents be amended so that both Cherwell District Council and South Northamptonshire Council utilise the same process and procedures.

(3)       That the scheme be implemented on 1 February 2018.

The Chairman advised the Committee that in light of legal advice this item was exempt and therefore would not be considered in the public part of the meeting.
