The Planning Committee is a regulatory Committee which meets every 4 weeks. The Committee makes decisions in relation to major planning applications, authorises action to be taken to deal with a breach of planning rules as well as considering other planning related matters. Not all planning decisions are made by the Committee, many are determined by Council Officers through delegated powers.

Members of the public can, in certain circumstances, speak at Planning Committee. This leaflet will give you more information.
