The Minutes of the Meetings of the Appeals Panel held on 21 March 2017, 16 May 2017, 15 May 2018 and 14 May 2019 were agreed as correct records and signed by the Chairman.
Exclusion of Press and Public
The following item contains exempt information as defined in the following paragraphs of Part 1, Schedule 12A of Local Government Act 1972.

Members are reminded that whilst the following item has been marked as exempt, it is for the meeting to decide whether or not to consider each of them in private or in public. In considering their discretion members should also be mindful of the advice of Council Officers.
Should Members decide not to make a decision in public, they are recommended to pass the following recommendation:

The Appeals Panel conducted an appeal hearing in accordance with the Appeals Panel Procedure rules.
The appellant presented their case, and questions were invited.
The Assistant Director Performance and Transformation submitted the case on behalf of Cherwell District Council, supported by the HR Business Partner and questions were invited.
The Assistant Director Performance and Transformation made his concluding remarks and the appellant made their concluding remarks.
The Committee retired to consider the evidence. The appellant, the Assistant Director Performance and Transformation and the HR Business Partner left the meeting.
